Today is the Memorial Service and reunion for the ship hubby's big brother died. Those that survived 3 1/2 years as P.O.W.s, only 25 suvivors are alive today. Few still make the trip to Houston each year as age and health is taking its toll. Only 6 came last year.
This is always a tender time for hubby, honoring his Hero brother and shipmates. We'll also be attending the dinner tonight.
